Lakeside Animal Hospital Staff
The care and attention of our special team make all the difference at Lakeside Animal Hospital, a difference you’ll feel when you walk thru the front door. Let’s meet the problem solvers.
Starting at the front door
Erin Godfrey Client Care Specialist is a native of Bishop, CA who moved to Reno five years ago with her horse, 2 dogs, 3 cats, and 2 sheep. It was her love for animals that lead her to employment in the veterinary field 13 years ago, and her smiling face is the first to great you and your pets when you visit Lakeside Animal Hospital. In her spare time, Erin writes children’s books, gardens, and spends time with her grandchildren.
Once you and your pet are settled in the exam room, our animal nurses are just as accommodating and helpful as Erin at the front desk. When you and your pet come in for a visit, an animal nurse will be the first person in the room with you. The nurse will collect pertinent information from you, such as your dog or cat’s medications, diet, allergies, then asses temperature, pulse rate, respiratory rate, and body condition. They are always available to assist the doctors caring for your pet. They're also available for any questions that you may have. Speaking with one of our nurses is always the fastest way to get an answer from a doctor.
A nurse can also sit down with you to discuss all of the needs of a new puppy or kitten, so you can be sure that you're doing everything possible as a new pet owner. You can make an appointment with one of our nurses to learn the proper techniques for ear cleaning, dental home care, and anal gland expression for your pet. Call today to make an appointment for a demonstration!
